The Bellarine Peninsula includes coastal gems such as Portarlington, Ocean Grove, Queenscliff, Point Lonsdale & Barwon Heads. Each of these locations has a wonderful range of activities. Duncan lives in Leopold which is also very handy to Geelong being just over 10 minutes away by car.

Sunday November 3- Schedule Suggestion

Pre 1030am - Leave home with enough time to be ready for lunch on the Bellarine at 1pm

If catching the ferry from Docklands to Portarlington then suggested approach is to catch a metro train & lament the poor state of public transport as you travel to Southern Cross train station. Its then a 5 to 10 minute walk to where the Ferry will depart from in Docklands via Port Phillip Ferries

Docklands Ferry departure location

1030am - Be ready to board the ferry for a ferry departure at 1040am. The ferry terminal is at 131 Harbour Esplanade. Victoria Harbour, Docklands. Look for the COW in the tree

Port Phillip Ferries berth at Docklands, Victoria Harbour Promenade, directly across the street from Marvel Stadium. The ferry terminal is a 5-10 minute walk from Southern Cross Train Station (there is and external lift to access Harbour Esplanade for accessibility), and is also next to the FREE city tram service at stop D3

1040am - Ferry departure from Docklands. Why not sample a tea or coffee or other refreshment from the ferry cafe as you travel to Portarlington

1150am - Ferry arrives at Portarlington. Be met by your host & chauffer Duncan on the Portarlington Pier.

1150am to 1pm - There is a bit of time to fill in as lunch is booked for 1pm. There are options galore! Walk along the Portarlington beach, browse the shops at Portarlington, pop into a cafe in Portarlington or maybe just arrive early at the winery in readiness for lunch

1pm - Arrive in readiness for a 1pm lunch booking at TERINDAH ESTATE https://www.terindahestate.com/
Your host & chauffer Duncan will be available to drive you in an ugly but reliable 2011 Toyota Camry

1pm to 245pm - Marinate yourself in the delights of a boutique winery lunch with wonderful company

245pm to 430pm - There is a little bit of time post lunch to check out the Terindah winery in more detail or perhaps pop next door to the Jack Rabbit Winery for a sticky beak

430pm - Head back to Portarlington via the ugly yet reliable 2011 Toyota Camry in readiness for a ferry departure back to Docklands

500pm - Ferry departs Portarlington to Docklands arriving at 610pm
